Experience the wonder and excitement of an art installation made out of more than 515 rolls — that’s 16+ miles! — of packing tape.
Packing tape is that ubiquitous polypropylene pressure-sensitive stuff used to seal packages.
Visitors can walk, roll and slide through the twisting tunnels and curving paths created by architect/artist Eric Lennartson from packing tape stretched over a steel frame. The one-of-a-kind installation relies on the tensile strength of the tape to create a full-body, multisensory experience that engages children’s (and adult’s) curiosity while meeting the need for fun, large-muscle activities.
