This program will help teen participants explore the contributions of African American inventors.
STEM is an acronym for science, technology, engineering and mathematics. It is usually applied to an academic setting where an emphasis is on these critical subjects.
Teens will be given an assortment of items and use computational thinking to complete basic engineering projects inspired by African American engineers and inventors: marble maze, bridge, free building and paper chain.
