Childhood friends Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney are The Black Keys, a duo who began in a basement and soon became an underground sensation. The guys are known for a tough, raw style of rock laced with inspiration from blues legends such as musicians David “Junior” Kimbrough (1930-1998) and Robert Johnson (1911-1938).
