Professional chef — and a member of the Oglata — Sean Sherman discusses his mission to completely redefine North American cuisine through the understanding and utilization of indigenous food knowledge.
The Oglala is a subgroup of the Lakota tribe, a native people of what is now the U.S. state of South Dakota. The majority of Oglata live on Pine Ridge Indian Reservation at the southwest corner of South Dakota.
