One of the great bands to emerge in the 1980’s, the Silencers’ music is characterized by a melodic blend of pop, folk and traditional Celtic influences.
The band was formed in 1986 by guitarist Charles “Cha” Burns (1957-2007) and singer/guitarist Jimme O’Neill (pictured). They have since distinguished themselves with their eclectic sounds, prolific output and continued career.
