Debuting in 2008, “The Skeptic’s Guide to the Universe” is a podcast hosted by clinical neurologist Steven Novella that features discussions of recent scientific developments in layman’s terms. The show also explores conspiracy theories and superstitions from point of view of scientific skepticism.
The podcast’s title is a reference to the popular comedic 1978 science fiction novel The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy written by British author Douglas Adams (1952-2001).
