Backed by an impressive stage production filled with spectacle, the engaging Colorado quintet The String Cheese Incident uses traditional instruments (like the mandolin) to perform creative and wonderful bluegrass tunes.

The band’s name is a humorous take on a concert in 1996 when musician Michael Kang suddenly broke a mandolin string. This is an “all-ages” concert.
