Get fit and active on the trails around the Frick Environmental Center with the pace  determined by the hike leader based on the group.

The result of a bequest by industrialist Henry Clay Frick (1849-1919)  — and covering more than 500 acres — the Frick is the largest municipal park in Pittsburgh.

This hike is designed for park pals of all ages  but with special consideration for those 50 and older. It’s not designed to be strenuous, but Pittsburgh is a hilly place so there will be some ups and downs. Please wear sturdy shoes and dress for the weather.

Presented by the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy, a non-profit organization that promotes a wide appreciation and enjoyment of a sustainable park system in Pittsburgh whose landscapes, facilities and programming set world standards of excellence. For more information, call (412) 682-7275.
