This delightful 2017 Chinese film is an animated children’s comedy that explores Chinese culture in a fun, engaging way through tea and toys.
Nathan is one of a line of little toy porcelain figures that change colors in contact with water. However, for some reason, his colors wont change anymore. One day, Nathan meets a little robot named Timebot who decides to join him on an adventure. Along the way the duo will be helped by many different pets to find out why Nathan cannot change color — and how to recover the ability.
Presented as part of the Silk Screen Asian American Film Festival, part of the nonprofit Silk Screen organization’s efforts to celebrate diversity and multicultural Asian and Asian-American experience through cultural events.
