The entire family will enjoy this wonderful stage musical adaptation of the 2016 film and the popular line of dolls it’s based on.
That line is that of the troll doll created in 1959 by Danish woodcutter Thomas Dam (1915-1989). The doll is a whimsical variation of the folklore creatures who dwell in isolated places and are rarely helpful to human beings. It’s most notable characteristic is a head topped with furry up-combed hair. The 2016 computer animated film follows two trolls who go on a quest to save their village from destruction by creatures who eat trolls to be happy.
