Founded in 1990, the Upright Citizens Brigade (UCB) is a Chicago-based improvisational and sketch comedy troupe. The UCB also teaches long-form improv, sketch, writing, parts of directing and various other comedy skills. Some of the nation’s most successful comics honed their skills through the troupe.
Imagine that two commentators were as much of an improv nerd as the people doing it — naming every deep-cut improv move, strategy, historical precedent as the show continued.
