A native of northern China, award winning musician Yang Jin is one of the world’s leading pipa soloists.
The pipa is a four-string musical instrument similar to the lute or guitar. This pear-shaped instrument has been played for almost two thousand years in China.
A performer of incomparable technique and exquisite musicality, Yang joyfully embraces a global sound by seamlessly blending element of the East and the West. Tonight, she is joined by an ensemble of extremely talented and passionate musicians from all over the world.
This is an “all-ages” concert.
