This cabaret is an intimate, sophisticated performance venue operated by the Pittsburgh Civic Light Orchestra (CLO) and located inside the Theater Square complex owned by the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust. It was originally called the Cabaret at Theater Square but was renamed in 2018 to honor local philanthropist George Greer.

Formed in 1946, the Pittsburgh CLO is one of the country’s most prestigious nonprofit theater companies.

The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust is an economic and cultural development organization established in 1984 It came into existence largely due to the initiative of local industrialist Henry John Heinz II (1908-1987), the grandson of Henry John Heinz (1844-1919) and founder of the food giant H. J. Heinz Company.

Theater Square was designed by Michael Graves, who is considered one of the leading architecture of contemporary style. It includes a cabaret, backstage bar, restaurant, parking garage and ticketing services for shows in the Pittsburgh Cultural District. Groundbreaking public radio station WQED-FM also operates a studio out of Theater Square.

Guests enjoy extended runs of fun-filled musicals while seated at a table or in a row. Appetizers and drinks are available.
