The Carnegie Stage is a nonprofit theater company and performance space that was originally called Off The Wall .

Their  mission is to encourage and support the artist and the appreciation of all arts, and to provide visiting artists a home in which to present live theater, dance, music and comedy.

The theater is located in Carnegie, a small town just outside the city of Pittsburgh named in honor of industrialist Andrew Carnegie (1835-1919). At its zenith from the 1930s through the 1960s Carnegie was home to many of the area’s steel mill and coal mining workers.  Today, Carnegie is a walkable community with a dog park, playground, tennis courts, a hockey rink, basketball courts, baseball fields, walking trails and interesting shops.
