Castle Blood is a popular haunted house staged every fall in the former Stephen D. Yoney Jr. Funeral Home.

The building is a striking century-old, three-story Victorian mansion in the small rural town of Monessen in adjacent Westmoreland County by local horror enthusiast Richard Dick and his family (who perform as the “MacCabre Family”).

Castle Blood is well-known among haunted house enthusiasts for elaborate, highly theatrical productions which are staged around a new theme each year.

STANDARD OPERATING HOURS:
The house is open every October; 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. each day except Sunday, when it closes at 9:00 p.m.
