First opened in 1987, City Books is Pittsburgh’s oldest used book store (although they also sell some new books). The shop was originally located on the city’s South Side, but moved its current home in 2016.

City Books prides itself on combining old world charm with modern customer service. In addition to an impressive select of books, the shop offers comfortable seating, great lighting and soft jazz playing in the background.

STANDARD OPERATING HOURS:
Tuesday through Friday, 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Saturday & Sunday, Noon to 5:00 p.m.

PARKING:
Some on-street parking is available.
