Encompassing 500 acres, Harrison Hills is a county public park that features an environmental learning center, shelters, a scenic overlook, playgrounds, soccer fields, ponds and a birding area as well as trails for walking, hiking and horse riding.
The park is located in Harrison, a small suburb of 10,000 people southwest of Pittsburgh.
Visitors also enjoy a pond, small waterfalls and a learning center. The overlook and deck provides a unique opportunity to see three counties (Westmoreland, Butler and Armstrong) across a panoramic horizon.
