McBride Park is a municipal park located in the Pittsburgh neighborhood of Lincoln Place.
Lincoln Place is the city’s southeastern most neighborhood and is named in honor of U.S. President Abraham Lincoln (1809-1865). Long a comfortable home to middle class workers and their families, it has plenty of green space, trees and even the occasional wildlife. The neighborhood borders the suburbs Munhall and West Mifflin.
Visitor to the park enjoy a play area, swimming pool, baseball field and courts for basketball, tennis and even hockey.
The name of the park and its street may be connected with union leader Lloyd McBride (1916-1983). A senior housing facility named after McBride is nearby.
McBride Park is managed by the City of Pittburgh Department of Parks & Recreation, commonly called CitiParks.
