Also known as the Emerald Mansion, this handsome 17-room estate was originally constructed as the elegant homestead for a prominent Monongahela family.

Founded in 1769, Monongahela is the oldest settlement in the Monongahela River Valley and most likely the oldest in Washington County.

Since 2005, the mansion is outfitted each Halloween as a seasonal attraction called Demon House by local horror fan Billy McCue.
