Mt. Lebanon is a suburb located southwest of Pittsburgh. It’s public library originated in 1932 with a proposal from a local fraternal organization.
The current facility opened in 1997. The $4.2 million glass, brick, and aluminum structure contained three meeting rooms, four quiet study rooms, alcoves for casual reading, shelves for 140,000 books, seats for 165 persons and more than 50 computers.
STANDARD OPERATING HOURS:
Sunday, 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Monday through Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Friday & Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
