First opened in 1990 and located in Oakmont, Mystery Lover’s is one of the largest specialty mystery book stores in the country.

Oakmont is a charming suburb of 6,000 people incorporated in 1889 and located northeast of Pittsburgh. The community takes its name from a beloved black oak tree that once stood along the Allegheny River.

The store carries a wide variety of crime and mystery fiction including thrillers and some espionage. It also regularly welcomes guest authors, including some of the most famous mystery writers in the US.

STANDARD HOURS:
Sunday, Noon to 4:00 p.m.; Monday through Wednesday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; Thursday, 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.; Friday & Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
