PNC Park is a sports and concert stadium that is the home for the Pittsburgh Pirates.

Founded in 1888, the Pittsburgh Pirates is the city’s professional baseball team and has won five World Series championships.

PNC Park is designed to echo the classic baseball stadiums of the early 20th century. It is very neighborhood-oriented, with shops, restaurants, a riverside concourse and a very human scale. The Pirates and their challenges meet on a natural grass playing service surrounded by an attractive limestone and steel structure.

Banking giant PNC Financial Services has acquired the stadium’s naming rights. PNC stands for an earlier incarnation of the company’s name, Pittsburgh National Corporation.
