Owned and operated by five generations of the Shenot family, this farm located 20 minutes north of Pittsburgh prides itself on its sustainable agriculture.

Sustainable farming is a common-sense approach that is neither organic nor conventional that is designed for the long-term benefit of the land. The Shenots have, for example, implemented an integrated pest-management system that makes careful and wise use of pesticides alongside more nature methods. The farm primarily grows fruits and vegetables.

Shenot Farm also has a fresh produce market and often hosts events.
