This handsome century-old building is home to the education department of the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust.

The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust is an economic and cultural development organization established in 1984 It came into existence largely due to the initiative of local industrialist Henry John Heinz II (1908-1987), the grandson of Henry John Heinz (1844-1919) and founder of the food giant H. J. Heinz Company.

Facilities include a sizable multipurpose room located on the first floor along with various classrooms and workshop spaces to utilize for visual and theater arts, written and spoken word, dance and other art forms.

The building is named in honor of local businessman and philanthropist James E. Rohr, who retired as chairman of banking giant PNC Financial Services in 2014
