Wood Street Galleries is a contemporary art gallery operated by the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust and located above the Wood Street light rail transit station.

The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust is an economic and cultural development organization established in 1984 It came into existence largely due to the initiative of local industrialist Henry John Heinz II (1908-1987), the grandson of Henry John Heinz (1844-1919) and founder of the food giant H. J. Heinz Company.

This unique, triangular building was first constructed around 1900 as a bank. It later became the home to a local fur company owned by Latvian immigrant and entrepreneur Max Azen (1868-1943) and was renovated to its current use in the 1980s.

STANDARD HOURS:
Sunday, 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; Wednesday & Thursday, 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.; Friday & Saturday, 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
