With impressive costuming and choreography these gifted artists — 15 power vocalists backed by a six-piece band — transports the audience to the heyday of the “Motown Sound.”
Motown is a record label established in Detroit (nicknamed “Motor Town” after the auto industry) in 1959. Throughout the 1960’s and 1970’s, its bands and soloists became known for a pop-infused, melodic soul music that is called “The Motown Sound.”
This tribute act celebrates Motown’s rich legacy and continued contributions. An “all-ages” concert.
