The Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra launches its 2025-2026 season with a one-night-only sparkling experience featuring pianist Yuja Wang (pictured).
Founded in 1895 by British composer, conductor and organist Frederic Archer (1838-1901), the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra is one of America’s oldest and most prestigious orchestras having performed around the world including a 2004 concert for Pope John Paul II (1920-2005).
Yuja Wang has impressed critics with her poetic grace and attention to detail. This special gala concert celebrates and advances the orchestra’s goal of establishing a music learning ecosystem in Western Pennsylvania that will develop the next generation of classical artists.
An optional pre-concert dinner is available. Proceeds benefit the orchestra’s learning and engagement programs.
