Give thanks to the contributions of the Kelly-Strayhorn Theater this Thanksgiving weekend as it celebrates 25 years.
The Kelly Strayhorn is a former silent movie palace that has been renovated into a community arts space in the city’s historic East Liberty Neighborhood. The theater is named in honor of two Pittsburgh natives: actor/director Gene Kelly (1912-1996) and jazz composer/musician Billy Strayhorn (1915-1967).
Come groove to a Cuban beat with composer/percussionist Hugo Cruz leading a collection of amazing artists that promises a fresh take on beloved standards the whole family can enjoy.
