In this introductory knitting class, you will knot, knot, knot and knot some more until you knot yourself a cozy blanket.

Knitting is the process that creates a textile or fabric from yarn. Humans have been knitting for thousands of years and historians remain unclear as to its origin. Knitting creates stitches: loops of yarn in a row, either flat or in the round. This can be done by hand or by machine. The modern English term is a linguistic descendant of the Old English word “cnyttan” which means “to knot.”

Blankets are usually finished in class, but you also may finish at home if you run behind at all. This is an easy class with no experience required.
