The pioneering singer/songwriter Don McLean has been creating and delivering eternally universal folk-rock music since the 1960’s.
Don’s signature work is 1971’s “American Pie,” about the loss of innocence experienced by youth in the 1950’s — particularly, the 1959 airplane crash that took the lives of three early rock music stars.
Expect a night of seasoned music that has placed McLean somewhere between a mere entertainer and a great poet.
Admission is free to this outdoor concert.
