Composer and pianist Andrew Kierszenbaum joins the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra in performing music from “Arcane.”
Founded in 1895 by British composer, conductor and organist Frederic Archer (1838-1901), the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra is one of America’s oldest and most prestigious orchestras having performed around the world including a 2004 concert for Pope John Paul II (1920-2005).
“Arcane: League of Legends” (2021-2024) was an animated streaming television series adapted from the popular “League of Legends” online video game. It centered on two heroic sisters who are caught in the escalating conflict between a rich, utopian community and that of a desperately poor one. Kierszenbaum wrote the series’ score.
This is an “all-ages” concert.
