The inventive composer, musician and singer Danny Elfman (with the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra) performs some of the works that have earned him multiple film, television and recording awards.
Danny first became prominent as the lead singer for the rock band Oingo Boingo (1979-1995). He has written scores for over 100 films including “Beetlejuice” (1988) and “Doctor Strange” (2022). Danny has also composed the theme songs to hit television series such as “The Simpsons.”
Founded in 1895 by British composer, conductor and organist Frederic Archer (1838-1901), the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra is one of America’s oldest and most prestigious orchestras having performed around the world including a 2004 concert for Pope John Paul II (1920-2005).
These are “all-ages” concerts.
