Passionate, funny and inspiring, “Suff” is centered on real-life suffragette Alice Paul (1885-1977) and the hard work, arguments and surprising relationships among the determined women in her circle. [The term “suffrage” originates from a Latin word meaning “a ballot” with “suff” used a shortform of “suffragette”].
Composer, lyricist and actress/singer Shaina Taub was the driving force behind “Suff,” winning many honors and portraying Alice in the original Broadway production.
