This engrossing documentary film relates the fascinating life and career of Audre Lorde (pictured).

Audre Lorde (1934-1992) was an educator, philosopher, activist and prolific writer. She had dedicated her life and talents to confronting all forms of injustice and self-identified as a “black, lesbian, mother, warrior, poet.”

Following the screening, there will be a reception, performances and readings centering the voices of artists, writers, and educators who continue to be formed by Lorde’s ever impactful life and body of work.
