This contemporary musical is an adaptation of the 1landmark 923 play “Adding Machine” written by the Pulitzer Prize winning playwright Elmer Rice (1892-1967).  Rice’s work is considered a masterful example of highly subjective and non-realistic form of modern drama in its episodic tale of a complicated man called Mr. Zero.

With a struggling marriage and a mundane life, little is going well for Mr. Zero. And after 25 years, he is replaced at his company by a mechanical adding machine. In an act of pure rage, he murders his boss and embarks on a journey that leads to the afterlife where Mr. Zero is given one last chance at redemption.

The original 2007 Off-Broadway production won numerous awards.
