Student artists from Flamenco Pittsburgh make up the core of this colorful ensemble joyfully showcasing flamenco music and dance traditions.
Flamenco is an art form based on the various folkloric music traditions of southern Spain, especially those of the Andalusia region.
Begun in 2002, Flamenco Pittsburgh is dedicated to teaching flamenco art and culture in the Western Pennsylvania area through ongoing classes, outreach and performances.
Presented as part of the Three Rivers Art Festival, a 10-day celebration produced annually by the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust.
