This exhibition is a photographic essay exploring themes of American life from the past 8 years and the war being waged on the human soul through social division, police brutality, global wars, climate change, gentrification, broken relationships and communities.
Jacob Pesci is a practicing photographer, artist, and educator. Heavily influenced by his experiences with isolation, violence, connection, and love; as well as his time as a combat medic in the US Navy, Jacob’s studio practice focuses on themes surrounding the human condition and personal relationships.
In his first solo exhibition artist Jacob Pesci looks to the resilience of the human spirit and the presence of God as a guide and anchor towards deeper growth, love, sacrifice, justice and human connection.
