Two tribute acts — Eleanor Walrus and Fungus (pictured) — continue to “battle” each other in an exciting night of musical nostalgia.

Eleanor Walrus is a Beatles tribute. The Beatles (1960-1970) were one of the most artistically and commercially successful bands in the history of music, helping to define the sound of 60s pop-rock. In the spirit of the Beatles experimental approach, Eleanor Walrus changes some of the arrangements and instrumentation, adds some extra solos, extends certain songs into improvised jams, and creatively incorporates different sounds and effects.

Fungus is a Grateful Dead tribute. The pioneering rock band Grateful Dead (1965-1995) represented the counterculture movement rising from 1960’s San Francisco. The band became famous for improving concerts and an eclectic fusion of music genres. Co-founder Jerry Garcia (1942-1995) became its most prominent member.
