Motown Records is a record label founded in 1959 by producer Barry Gordy which developed a style soul music that became known as “The Motown Sound.”
Acclaimed local composer and musician Dwayne Fulton has created this magnificent show featuring an amazing cast of local vocalists to perform songs made famous by The Temptations, Jackson Five, Marvin Gaye, Diana Ross and many others.
Come early to hear from the artists behind the exhibit “Magnificent Motown: Art Inspired by the Music” in an exclusive panel discussion. And you won’t want to miss the Origins market in the vestibule, featuring local artisans and makers.
