Some of Pittsburgh’s finest musicians and singers combine their talents to perform the songs made famous by The Allman Brothers Band.
The Allman Brothers Band was formed in 1969 by guitarist Duane Allman (1946-1971) and singer/songwriter Gregg Allman (1947-2017). The band incorporated elements of blues, jazz, and country music. Their live shows featured jam band-style improvisation and instrumentals. The band broke-up and reformed several times before finally disbanding in 2017.
