This exciting 2019 superhero movie is being screen in three-dimensions in the center’s Rangos Giant Cinema.
The comic book character Captain Marvel debuted in 1939 as the alter-ego of bright and enthusiastic teen Billy Batson. The captain has been re-imagined several times since, including a groundbreaking female hero in 1968 as Carol “Mar-Veil” Danvers. The character took the name Captain Marvel in 2012 — and that version inspired this movie.
Set in 1995, “Captain Marvel” follows Carol Danvers, a former U.S. Air Force fighter pilot, as she turns into one of the galaxy’s mightiest heroes and joins an elite military team, before returning home with questions about her past and identity when Earth is caught in the center of a galactic conflict between two alien worlds.
