The Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre’s dancers and orchestra perform a new adaptation of the one of the classic stories ever created.

“Cinderella” is a classic fairy tale of unjust oppression and triumphant reward. The tale first appeared in Greece around 7CE, but story as it is known today emerged 12th century France and solidified in 19th Century Germany. The basic plot is that of an oppressed young woman living in a miserable family situation who discovers her inner strength and outer beauty.

Fall in love with the classical choreography, gorgeous costumes, magnificent sets, live music and a fairy tale ending that’s just the perfect fit.
