The beloved 1991 animated film is brought to the stage in the delightful, family-friendly musical.
Both the film and the live production are inspired by the 1740 fairytale written French author Jeanne-Marie Leprince de Beaumont (1711-1780). It centers on the unlikely romance that develops between a terrifying beast and the beautiful daughter of his captive. Featuring remarkable costumes and exciting effects, the stage production is complete with a score of beloved songs including “Be Our Guest,” “Something There” and “Beauty and the Beast.”
This is another project supported by the Walt Disney Company, which was founded by animation pioneer Walt Disney (1901-1966) and has been delivering family entertainment since 1923.
