Add a sweet touch to your holidays with edible arts and crafts!

A gingerbread house is a novelty confectionery shaped like a building that is made of baked cookie dough. The tradition of making decorated gingerbread houses started in Germany in the early 1800s. As they became more elaborate, they became associated with Christmas.

The library will supply the gingerbread, icing and decorations– everything you need to make a delicious gingerbread house.

This free event is for families with children birth to grade 5 and their caregivers.
