This fun, informative and nostalgic 2019 documentary film celebrates the grandeur of the great cinemas of the United States.

Constructed primarily between 1910 and 1930, these movie palaces offered a glorious environment where people could enjoy the latest silent movie in true style. These palaces had thousands of seats, giant screens, exotic and ornate interiors (with balconies and lounges), in-house organs and orchestras, amazing marquees and air conditioning.

“Going Attractions” is a tribute to America’s great art form and the great monuments created for audiences to enjoy them in.

Presented as part of three Rivers Film Festival, the largest and longest running annual film festival in Southwestern Pennsylvania. For more information, call (412) 361-0873.
