Take part in the Greenfield Glide, a community run/walk runs through a hilly Schenley Park.
The 300-acre park was created in 1889 thanks to a gift by local heiress and philanthropist Mary Schenley (1826-1903). Today it has 13 tennis courts, an all-weather running track, a soccer field, ice skating rink, public swimming pool and an 18-hole disc golf course.
The park is adjacent to the city neighborhood called Greenfield.
Participants begin and end at the turn-around on Overlook Drive. Presented by the City of Pittsburgh’s Parks & Recreation Department, commonly called CitiParks.
