Driven by songwriter and musician Thomas Youngblood, the band Kamelot skillfully blends elements of classical and symphonic metal with gothic/doom metal and progressive rock. The result are introspective, uplifting songs that reflect powerful dynamics and dazzling musicianship.
The band’s name is a play on the fictional castle home of the British folk hero King Arthur. It was also the nickname for the glamorous administration of U.S. President John F. Kennedy (1917-1963), who was admired by Youngblood’s mother.
This is an “all-ages” concert.
