Ida B. Wells (1862-1931) was an African American journalist, an educator, a feminist and an anti-lynching civil rights leader. Through her journalism, she fought tirelessly for equal rights for women and Black Americans until her death.
Kids will learn about Wells’ impact and get their own chance to change their community through creating newspapers of their own.
