Forget the kids as the Carnegie Science Center becomes an adults-only playground inspired by Mardis Gras.
Mardis Gras is a centuries-old carnival-like celebration related to the Lenten season on the Christian calendar. Although held in many countries, the most famous Mardis Gras is probably the one held in New Orleans. The phrase “Mardis Gras” translates from the French into English as “Fat Tuesday.”
Proceeds from this age 21+ event benefit the center.
