This 2026 documentary film is a sequel to the critically acclaimed “My Undesirable Friends: Part I — Last Air in Moscow”.
Like the first installment, it follows a group of Russian journalists who have been labeled “foreign agents” or “undesirable” by the government for their unvarnished coverage of Russia’s war with neighboring Ukraine.
Despite having been sentenced in absentia to prison on charges of espionage, many of them plan to return home one day; in the meantime, they persist in spreading the word about the battlefield atrocities in Ukraine.
An extremely long film (355 minutes), it will be screened in parts.
